If you are searching for an extremely talented NJ jazz and pop pianist, you have found him.  Arnie Abrams to the rescue.  Arnie’s popular and jazz piano styles add that classy touch to your wedding ceremony or cocktail party, engagement party, bridal or baby shower, birthday or anniversary party, or corporate event.

Whatever you are celebrating, this NJ jazz musician’s live piano music always creates a cool and unique vibe for you and your guests who enjoy popular and jazz favorites.

As a professional NJ jazz pianist based in central New Jersey (Freehold), Arnie serves the north Jersey, central Jersey and south Jersey areas, as well as the metro New York City and Philadelphia region, and can easily travel to your location to make your event a fun and memorable time.

Being one of the most versatile New Jersey jazz musicians, Arnie studied classical, popular and jazz piano in Connecticut and later in New York.  His forté is Harlem Stride Jazz Piano, which is the style that Arnie picked up from his father, who was a terrific self-taught pianist himself. He instructed Arnie on the finer points of improvisational jazz incorporating the Stride piano technique.

While growing up in New Haven, Connecticut, Arnie also played piano with a Dixieland jazz band called the Bourbon Street 7.  The members, mostly in their 60’s & 70’s, were cool enough to allow an inexperienced 18-year old pianist with potential to sit in…and Arnie learned quite a bit hanging around those great musicians.
